By Ben Garfinkel
I gaze out the window
The ominous night sky looms overhead
Illuminated by the city skyline below
A sea of lights flicker and shine
Resembling small color filled explosions
Cars and taxis are everywhere
Swarming the streets like bees
Always buzzing around
Everyone has a place to go
Giant casinos watch over the strip
They rise above all other buildings
Great gods are symbols of power
These great buildings are symbols of money
Money being thrown away
A giant empire
Entirely man made
Existing in the desert
A surreal wonderland
Called Las Vegas
